چکیده

Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) are a collection of widely used stencils for integrating enterprise applications and business processes. These patterns represent a “de-facto” standard reference for design decisions when integrating enterprise applications. For each of these patterns we present the integration semantics (model) and the conceptual translation (syntax) to the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), which is a “de-facto” standard for modeling business process semantics and their runtime behavior.

Compilation of BPMN-based Integration Flows

Enterprise Application Integration plays an integral role for the communication between applications not only in service-oriented architectures. However, their modeling and configuration remain underrepresented. In previous work, the integration control and data flow syntax and semantics have been expressed in the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) as a semantic model for message-based ...

Enterprise vocabularies, ontologies, and business rules do not exist in isolation but serve to support business processes. While many have recognized the importance of vocabularies, ontologies, and business rules in business process modeling and management, ...

Facilitate Modelling Using Method Integration: An Approach Using Mappings and Integration Rules

Conceptual modelling is one of the core disciplines within business informatics. Often, different metamodels have to be integrated to provide project specific or domain specific modelling solutions. This is a challenging task due to the heterogeneity of the modelling languages being assembled. This paper presents an approach for integrating heterogeneous modelling languages in the domain of ent...
